Hey everyone, my name is Jay from BroGaming TCG and I thought up of a pretty cool concept deck for the upcoming set. When I saw that Golisopod (one of my favorite Pokemon from Sun and Moon) I knew I had to make a deck with it in it! Below is the deck list and a video that I did going over it. The video goes into some more in depth strategies and looks at potential match-ups that it could have in a standard format. I would love to have some feedback on this deck so that I can make it as good as I hope it will be. All comment constructive or positive are encouraged and I will try and respond to everyone! Thanks!!

Here's the video that I did on it as well:

Have you considered using baby Golisopod too? Its ability essentially gives it 180 HP and its attack, while more expensive than Golisopod GX, hurts EXs and GXs harder.

Hi BroGaming,

Nice deck. I sure would run a second Tapu Koko and one tech Golisopod non-GX to have an alternate attacker able to ohko Pokémon GX. I assume that the deck is inteded for the assumed rotation but I am not sure on Puzzle of Time and the second Special Charge. Run one Revitalizer instead of the second Special Charge. Not sure what to run instead of Puzzle of Time at the moment. Ace Trainer is likely to rotate too. Replace it with one Acerola. I would also trade at least one switch for Escape Rope since it is reprinted in SM3 and the disruptive element can be real nice. Also consider to take out one Guzma for one Professor Kukui to hit numbers easier. Also trade one Bridgette for one Olivia if you want more search. It allows you to search out two Pokémon GX. Made a rather similar deck with Golisopod GX but did not account for cards that are most likely to rotate thus far.

Revitalizer would be a strong asset to this deck and is something that I will definitely be play testing now since you said something. I thought about escape rope and felt it did the same thing as Guzma but your opponent picks what card they promote, though since you brought it up I have rethought it and it could possible be used in some situations that may arise in several games. I could trade out one Bridgette but that will be play tested when the cards come out. Thanks for the feedback though! This helped out a ton!!!!

I haven't considered it in this deck but it could possible make a large difference. This deck lacks another strong attacker and since it is only one prize card and can easily take out EX and GX Pokemon I don't see why I would not put on in this deck! I will be play testing this deck with several different combinations and this will be one of them! Thanks for the great feedback!! It helped me out!!

I'm going to play this deck when it's releases, and this looks PERFECT! All I'd do is replace 1 Lele with an Oranguru, since I can't afford 2 leles mainly but also because oranguru is nice in the late game and also keeps up draw consistency. I'd also consider getting rid of the Ace Trainer and playing possibly some Kukuis for extra damage output or Energy Switch to stay consistently switching and to always be able to use first impression.

This deck wasn't meant for budget builders, but I do talk about it some in my video. Saying that you could swap out the 2-Lele with Oranguru or put in something else. I like the energy switch idea though. It would help with late game energy consistency. Kukuis is something that I thought about but is to early to add into the deck list. I think I'll have to play test before making the finally decision about Kukuis. Thanks for the feedback though and its pretty cool that you want to play this deck too!!!!

Are you planning this for post-rotation standard? Because otherwise I think you should run FGP. I dunno how I feel about Hala here. Are you honestly going to be using your GX quickly enough to avoid 2 Hala being a dead draw?

I like the general idea but I think it needs playtesting and polish to shine
