I was thinking that the benefit Talonflame brings to almost any deck is too big to not to use him. A stage 2 pokemon to start your match with 120 HP so it makes it difficult to knock out early in the game. Also, for 1 energy you do 40 damage and get to search your deck for 2 cards. As always, you are susceptible to getting N'd after doing so, but it is highly doubtful early in the game where your opponent will usually Brigette first turn unless the want to lose the game with another Aero Blitz. I think this is a great tech for a Golisopod deck and you are able to Trade the remaining Talonflame for 2 cards. Let me know what you think!

It has a nice (although very situational) ability and search attack, but it's just not consistent. If you don't start with Talonflame then it's a dead card. The plus side about running it with Zoroark GX is that you can Trade it away, but even then Zoroark GX is able to draw through your deck aggressively to the point where you shouldn't be having too many issues getting what you need so after Zoroark GX is set up then Talonflame is a dead card on the field. Your opponent can still N you too.

Scenario 1: Your opponent goes first and uses Brigette. You go second and use Talonflame. Next turn your opponent uses N.
Scenario 2. You go first and can't attack anyways. Your opponent goes next and uses Brigette. You go next and use Taloflame. Your opponent uses N.

Also, between 3 Zorua, 3 Wimpod, 3 Tapu Lele GX, and a Tapu Koko, how many times are you going to start with Talonflame? Greninja can use it because Froakie is usually the only Basic that deck runs when it's running Talonflame, and even then they have to run 3 Froakie and 4 Talonflame just to maximize their chances. I just don't think Talonflame fits in every deck. If there were the case, all the top tier players would've been using it for over a year now.
