Now I am new and have virtually no cards, my only card worth trading is my holo Manaphy. However I captured a special online, $14.99 for all the D/P rares. Not including the holos, but still, it could be a nice boost for me and give me something to trade.

Most of the rares are terrible, but a few are decent/fun to use. Carnivine, gengar, and heracross are all decent. Overall, its a decent deal, but not a great one.

I wouldn't do it. $14.99 for a rare is not very good. If you wanted one, Gengar is the way to go. Otherwise, the price is outrageous.

Where are you finding boxes for 14.99 O_ o??

It's not 14.99 for each individual rare, it's for all of them lol. I say it's a good deal, since if you went out and spent 15 bucks on DP Boosters there's no way you'd end up with all that. Most of the cards in DP aren't all that great, but this is still a good deal. If you have pretty much nothing this is definitely worth it, and you still have lots of trading material this way.

Yeah you got quite some good cards to keep or trade (drifblim, gengar, carnivine)
And if you're collecting DP, it's a nice deal.
