I traded a uxie La, a uxie La (RH), and a alakazam 4 (RH)

for a

Snorlax lv.x and a gallade 4 (RH)

good or bad trade?

bad trade.
Snorlax isn't that competitive of a deck, and you can get Gallade 4 in the theme deck. The Uxies are worth a lot more money, and are better in organized play.

What do you use to find prices? Beckett? Some people I know go by how much a card sells for on ebay.

Those look pretty accurate for ebay prices. Except that a RH uxie rarely goes over $20
