HEY. I really need help. Here's a list:

3 Gothitelle EP (The one with Smack) (Just kidding) (Obviously)

Okay. The idea is to use Electrode + twins to have a fully loaded Gothitelle out turn two.

(Skip this detailed explanation if the above was enough.)
You want to open with Gothita and Voltorb, whether through a Collector, lucky opening hand, or some sort of search or draw, to go off on T2, you need to have a Gothita (preferably two) and a Voltorb (preferably two, preferably with one active) by the end of T1. Then, on your second turn, you should have a Research Record, an Electrode, and a Twins in your hand. Evolve to Electrode, use Research Record to make sure you're not burning anything valuable, use Energymite to get energy onto your Gothita. Now that Electrode is dead, you can Twins for a Rare Candy and a Gothitelle and start wrecking face.

However, this is all in a perfect world, and the deck has some issues.
The problem is it's not consistent enough. I need a 4th collector, I need more communication, I need mirror techs, I'd like another catcher, I definitely need more energy, and heck, I probably need Reuniclus. But I have no idea what to take out. Help?

Explanations for some questionable cards/counts

Cheren vs. PONT/Juniper:
This deck is very combo-reliant. Thus, I need a few key pieces in my hand at once, and PONT and Juniper make that difficult to achieve. Should I try Engineer's?

Cheren vs. Sage's:
Between Sage's and Energymite, I could potentially discard a lot of important stuff. I need more cards in my hand and less in my discard.

Recycle:
I've actually discarded two of my three Gothitelle's on one Energymite. It wasn't pretty.

Research Record:
Generally a 61st card in most lists, this guy is Energymite's best friend

The problem is it's not consistent enough. I need a 4th collector, I need more communication, I need mirror techs, I'd like another catcher, I definitely need more energy, and heck, I probably need Reuniclus. But I have no idea what to take out. Help?

Things I'd like to add:
Flower Shop Lady
Jirachi (Possibly + Shaymin)
Reuniclus (A boy can dream)
More psychic energy

Why can't we just have the MTG rule on deck sizes?!

Anyway, all suggestions are appreciated.

Add the following:

+2-1-2 Line Reuniclus
+2 Jirachi
+2 Shaymin
+1 Flower Shop Lady

Removing:
Elms is a supporter, save those 1 turn supporters for more useful cards like twins :eek:
Pokegear isn't THAT great of a card. You don't run some of the good supporters, so just stick with none!
Research Record, as i've tested with this list, is just a confusing card, don't let the artwork fool you, it isn't that good
Adding:
Shaymins, Jirachi and Reniclus are all wanted by you and are not that bad.
Catchers are the most dominating card, don't just run one, run FOUR!
Flower Shop Lady can avoid being back on pokemon, and giving those communications something to work with!

All your points are valid, but I think you missed some of my key points.

The Pokegear is necessary to get a Collector Turn 1 and a Twins/Elms whatever I'm missing on turn two. Someone on another forum suggested I cut it down to 3, which is much more manageable, but the deck can't really do without this card.

And if I'm taking out Research Record, I might as well take out Electrode, and then I'm just running plain old Gothitelle/Reuniclus. Electrode is a questionable card on its own, but without being able to rescue four of the cards from him, it's just plain bad.

I realize Elm's is a somewhat weak card, but it's necessary in the mirror, and I run such a low count of Pokemon that I rarely have Pokemon in my hand.

Taking out two of my Rare Candies and ADDING a Stage 2 line hardly seems productive.

I really appreciate your input and I've definitely taken the comments about Pokegear and Research Record to heart, so I think I'll cut at least one of each, probably for a Jirachi and a Shaymin.

I would take out the pokegear. I hqve a deck that uses Electrode and needs to get pokemon out turn 1, but its not as useful as you thjnk, and your deck needs other stuff.

Recycle is crap. I know it can work decently with Electrode, but its not worth it. The reason it isn't good is because it puts the card ontop of your deck and not in your hand, so not oly does it not give you the card then and there, but it also takes away your next draw

Also, i would take out Junk Arm, personally, i think its going to lose its strength since trainer lock is going to become so prevelant.

So assuming you take out the cards i listed, that should give you 8 free spaces. So what i would add is this.
+ 2-1-2 Reuniclus
+ 2 Catcher
And add another energy.
That actually brings me to something else, you need to run more energy. I run 22 energy in my Electrode deck, and i still only have an average of 4 energy per energymite. So you might wanna take that into consideration.

Hm. I guess that's two votes against the Pokegear. No harm in testing without it! I'll cut it for now. I guess I'll cut the Recycle too and see how I do without it. I think I'm just going to give your changes a shot card for card and see how it goes; I'm kind of out of options hahahah. Thanks a lot for the input! Just out of curiosity, what do you run electrode with?

Pokegear is a good card. I'd keep it, but 4 is really really overkill. 1-2 is the right number. You can drop 2 PTEM for 2 more Communication and you can drop the Recycle for the 4th Collector. The other issue making it less consistent is probably that the only draw you have is 2 Cheren. You should consider running 2-3 Copycat or Professor Oak's as well as 2-3 Professor Juniper. Furthermore, I'd add a Tropical Beach as it's just amazing in this deck. You don't have any clutch draw either; I'd add in a Cleffa.

I run it with Lanturn. It works pretty well, and Im going to use it for battles roads
