Strategy
Gothitelle is obviously there for the item lock she provides, but Gardevoir is there so that Gothitelle can also serve as the main attacker. Gardevoir sits on the bench doubling my psychic energy and means that for 3 Psychic energy, Gothitelle hits for 150.
Mewtwo EX serves as a backup attacker, as with Gardy on the bench I only need to drop 1 Psychic energy for X-Ball, and 2 to use Psydrive (Rare, but sometimes the game winner).
Mr Mime is to avoid obvious bench sniping, but in particular because Plasma Freeze Espeon is particularly devastating to this deck.

Spiritomb is there for his ability and for the draw support, which is also why I chose the RC Kirlia.

The only problem I really encounter with this deck is not being able to set up as fast as some other decks. I'm thinking of dropping Silver Mirror for another supporter, but having the ability to shut down plasma from even killing my Gothitelle appeals to me...

RE: Gothitelle/Gardevoir

i love this deck! the only thing i would change is
+1 Rare Candy
+1 Computer Search
+1 Kirlia just in case,
+1 Emolga to set up faster as you said you had problems
-1 Bianca
-1 Skyla
-1 Energy Search
-1 Spiritomb Gothitelle helps you with that
-1 Switch
-1 Level Ball
-1 Master Ball
-1 Catcher
+2 Juniper

I'm not sure but hope this helps!

EDIT: also fit in a Super Rod to reuse Tool Scrapper on Garbodor decks.

I love this deck too, but where are the supporters! I can see why you have trouble setting up, so I suggest (to help set up)
-3 cheren
-1 bianca
-1 skyla
-3 energy search
-1 master ball
-2 catcher
-1 spirotomb
-1 switch
plus 4 juniper
plus 2 N
plus 1 computer search
plus 2 super rod
plus 2 ultra ball
plus 2 (or 3) dce
This is what I would change, for a more consistently performing deck.
