My first post here, woo!
Here's a deck I'm running in the new extended format but am curious as to what changes could potentially be made to help it out in standard (After the rotation hits, that is). This deck is centred around based Pumpkin dude thing, Gourgeist

Here's a deck I'm running in the new extended format but am curious as to what changes could potentially be made to help it out in standard (After the rotation hits, that is). This deck is centred around based Pumpkin dude thing, Gourgeist
Pokemon:
4X Pumpkaboo
4X Gourgeist
2X Ralts
1X Kirlia
2X Gardevoir (Psychic Mirage)
1X Duskull
1X Dusknoir (Sinister Hand)
1X Sigilyph (Safeguard)
1X Mr. Mime (Bench Barrier)
1X Mewtwo EX
4X Professor Juniper
3X N
3X Skyla
1X Dowsing Machine
4X Hypnotoxic Laser
1X Great Ball
1X Professors Letter
2X Evosoda
3X Rare Candy
1X Energy Retrieval
2X Switch
1X Startling Megaphone
3X Ultra Ball
2X Battle City (If I had the money, I'd replace these with Tropical Beach)
2X Rocky Helmet
9X Psychic Energy
My hopeful strategy is to get the Dusknoir & Gardevoir built and sitting on the bench early game, have a Mr. Mime on the bench too so I can prevent either from recieving damage. Sigilyph is there solely as an EX counter with Mewtwo EX being something I'd play extremely late game for final hits if need be. The ultimate strategy is to get Rocky Helmets onto my Gourgeist and use Spirit Scream with the assistance of a Hypnotoxic laser for one hit KO's. If Spirit Scream is too dangerous, I'd utilize Eerie Voice with the hope that the opponent has a full bench, next turn I'd distribute the energy around and Spirit Scream then (Potentially another Eerie voice depending on the circumstances).
A very slow deck but one that's been very fun for me when built properly (When the draws are bad, oh god it's a mess). I'm open to advice and tips on how to better this here deck. Looking forward to being a member here too!
