Ruling Great ball

Great ball has an older version made in stormfront which says."Search your deck for a basic pokemon and put it onto your bench. Shuffle your deck afterward." And now in the next set of pokemon tcg cards there is a new card that is named "great ball" also(there isn't the exact wording out i think) But in legal play once it comes out could i use the older version as the newer version?
 
I believe the answer is yes, but you will need a reference card since it has a major text change.~Mark
 
Yeah, pretty much. It's almost like Rare Candy, except Rare Candy is legal.
Hopefully they will make prints of both cards in BW2. At least, they'd better make them.
