Strategy:

(Note- I started playing Pokemon about a week ago. However I've been playing Magic The Gathering for quite some time now. I bought a theme deck from the BW Plasma Freeze set, but i really wanted to make my own deck. So here it is. I'm looking for constructive criticism since I'm not that good.) The strategy of this deck is to stall my opponent while i build up my EX's. I also wanted as much consistency as possible, along with never having a dead hand. With the Shaymin, Eevee, Team Plasma Ball, Level Ball, and Pokemon Communicator, I feel like if I don't have a Pokemon in my hand that i need, i will always be able to search for it. The win condition is to get G Booster attached to Genesect EX and get six prize cards. I'll usually start with an Eevee, but if i don't have any 'search for pokemon' type cards, I'll start with a Shaymin that can search for two basic Pokemon. With the first Eevee i play, I'll attach a Vaporeon for the heal, which will allow me to stall till i get 1 of my EX's built up. Late game, I'll have an Eevee on the bench with a Glaceon, for the free retreat of my Team Plasma Pokemon (practically all of them). That's the generally strategy of the deck. Articuno EX is in their for possible early damage to their benched Pokemon, and Keldeo EX and Verizion EX are in their for other win condition's, and their abilities fit nicely with the deck. The Leafeon is if i somehow have no EX's, ill use Leafeon as my heavy hitter.

Thanks!

Glad to see you're trying out Pokemon, dude! I've edited your decklist to meet our rules, standards and whatnot, as well. Hope you enjoy your time here! :D ~Kecleon

Ok, since as you said G-Booster is your win condition you need more genesect ex do you can reduce that chance of it being prized. Also virizion is an amazing tech to stop conditions.

-1 Articuno EX
-2x Vaporeon
-2x Shaymin
-2 Energy Search
-1 Energy Retrieval
-2 Super Energy Retrieval
-2 Cheren
-2 Level Ball
-1 Pokemon Communication
-1 Plasma Energy (you can only have 4 in a deck)

+2 Virizion EX
+2 Genesect EX
+2 Professor Juniper
+4 N
+1 Pokemon Catcher
+3 Ultra balls
+1 colress machine
+1 colress

These changes should help a lot with consistency juniper outclasses cheren for sheer draw and N is used for disruption and draw. Ultra ball is better the poke com because you can search for any pokemon in your deck. You want 3-4 of genesect ex and virizion ex as they are the main pokemon in your deck and your win condition. Leafeon is good (energy crush) and glaceon is great for the free retreat, you don't need vaporeon cause its just not worth it if you have virizion and genesect out T1-2 you hitting 100+ by T3.

Hope this helps ill try and edit my post with more in depth explanation of cards if you want when I get home tonight

Okay thanks! I'll make the changes and probably buy the cards tonight or tomorrow. And there's no need to make a more in depth post, your advice makes sense.
Thanks again.
