Strategy:

I've been testing this list out and it's been working really great so far. Dedenne is an answer to Yveltal, since it's so prevalent, and Jiraichi helps to buy time to evolve into Greninja. Robo sub also buys you an extra turn, which is usually enough to change the tempo of the game in your favour. Rough Seas is there to help versus Trevenant, as item lock can hurt the deck a lot.

The main issue I seem to have is running out of energy in the late game, as both my losses so far have been due to not being able to recover enough energy to keep knocking Pokemon out. Any ideas on how to improve the list?

This deck wasn't very relevant and extremely overlooked in expanded because so many players tried Greninja and Trevanant at Oregon and Florida Regionals, but only Trev succeeded. But after what happened this past weekend at Arizona Regionals, This deck might be just as relevant as Yveltal or Night March. Out of the Top 8 At the tournament, Greninja in Master's made 1 Top 8, 1 Top 4, and won over all. Dark wasn't even in Top 8. Cool list though.

What? Did someone use the Talonflame build there?
