I'm not much of a stall/mill player but I built this deck yesterday and tested it on PTCGO and I have to admit that this was the first stall deck that I genuinely enjoyed playing. Gyarados-GX is a stage 1 with 240 HP, a GX attack that was made for stall decks plus CRI Magikarp cannot be damaged while it's on the bench. The deck will be unviable in about a month due to the fact that lightning will be meta, but I keep wondering if this card was simply overlooked as a potential stall archetype. (Or maybe I'm just bad at this sort of playstyle idk)
The deck probably doesn't need that many ball cards, (altough I'm not sure since getting out Ditto is a priority to have a Magcargo asap and you also want to evolve 1 Magikarp as well on T2) so maybe at least 3 copies of Dumbbells could be added to give Gyarados 280 HP, and a third copy of Lusmine probably wouldn't hurt either, and maybe a 4th E. Hammer should be added as well.
Any thoughts on why Gyarados was never used as a stall deck after rotation? Only thing that comes to mind is that it cannot attack and therefore can't get rid of an opposing ULP Oranguru, but then again Regigas/Steelix stall can't attack either if I'm not mistaken.
