Currently able to set up T2/3 quite easily, if not T1 if going second. But I know it needs a little work somewhere.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

Bannette is not that great and you don't need 4 Gyarados. Have some Cyclone energy too. I'd say swap the Mesprits for Sableye, but If you want a lock deck... I can't help you much. You also should have Combee and Pokemon rescues, and focus less on Junk Arm.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

You are right, banette is not the greatest and do not find myself using it on many occasions, except for Regi Move or Junk Arm bait.

The Sableye suggestion though I have heard many times before and just haven't been fond of it to be honest. I've tried it out, and going first over all really just kills this deck, even if I get to use Collector that turn due to impersonate, I just find myself falling behind too quickly when running Sableye.

I was thinking of finding room for a few SSU's to re-use the Mesprits as well as using Seeker. But both can be used to heal the G-Dos if needed with a Warp Energy.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

Good Idea Girentina. Run 2-1 0r 1-1 PGX

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

Idk about running a PGX line, but it will be something I'll look into testing. Does seem interesting enough of an idea.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

You could also run 2-2 Bannette and put the hurt Banette's in the lost zone.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

That as well as a good idea, but I'm now looking at dropping the Banette line, considering I've only used it maybe once out of 20+ games, and that was due to 2 Magikarps and Regice being prized, and I had to carefully use my Seeker/Azelf. The odds of that situation happening again are slim, but still possible.

RE: Gyarados Lock - Masters

You're going to need the Event you plan on playing this for in the Title. Thanks.

dmaster out.

Sory about that, I actually plan on this deck being my main deck for the remainder of the year. Cities through Nats.
