BW/BW2 Gym Leaders Thread

This Thread will be about Guess the 8 Gym Leader Names. (include Pod, Kon, and Iris)

So i only have Dento, and i think he might be Leif.

So, Take your Guess! Til, Updates, and Spoilers Confirmed.
 
Pod/Korn/Dent: Schaeffer, Cook, and Sue (a play on Chef, Cook, and SOUS-chef)
Aloe: stays the same
Artie: stays the same.
Kamitsure: Ellie or Elle is a great name. She's a model, so naming her after Elle McPherson would be funny, and a clever play on her type of choice Electric.
Yakon: he might stay the same, or they might try for a goofy cowboy name like Wyatt.
Fuuro: Amelia. It HAS to be Amelia. What other famous female pilots can you think of lol?
Hachiki: This will stay the same. He's kind of a ninja so a Japanese name for him still makes sense.
Iris/Shaga: They'll stay the same.
 
Artie needs to be named "Bob google". I will be forever grateful to PUSA

I'm pretty much certain I won't like whatever US name Kamitsure gets stuck with, at least not compared to the Japanese name. I just... like it. Same goes for Shikimi, I'm mentally prepared to not want the US name.

As clever as it is, I could not stand that for the entire Best Wishes series, unless you mean sue, in which case, I could not stand that for the entire Best Wishes series.

Anyway

Dento, Pod, Corn are fine as they are.

Aloe, same as above, if not Eloise

Arty stays the same.

Kamitsure, Becca, Trixie.

Yakon, same, or Clint.

Fuuro, Arial, like Ariel.

Hachiki, Kyle.

Iris and Shaga should remain the same.
 
And since it's relevant to the thread, Dent has been renamed Cilan and Iris remains as Iris. I would NEVER have come with Cilan hehe.
 
My guesses:

(Since Iris is keeping her original name, they might pull a 1stGen and change all the others)

Dento, Poddo, and Kon: Cilan, Popp/Poppy, and Semar (RoSEMARy Idk, sounds stupid, but these were the best I could go with.)
Aloe: Aloe *crosses fingers*
Atel: Arty
Kamitsure: My guess would be Carmen, Im not so sure why though. I was told by a friend "Maybe as a take of of Carmen Electra?"
Yakon: Yakon, Clint, or some other countryish name.
Fuuro: Flo, duh. haha just kidding, this is my guess though.
Hachiko: Hachiko, or Hachiki.
Iris, and Shaga: Iris was confirmed to stay the same, so Shaga could be as well.
 
Changing my guesses for Cilan's posse.

The red dude will be named Parson (a play on Parsley) and the blue-haired dude will be named Tim (a play on Thyme).


EDIT: That blue-haired one sure had me fooled....
 
@TheBreen: They actually are all boys. And I'm thinking they're gonna keep the spice theme going.
