Pokemon is now twenty years old and does not have a Hall of Fame for its competitive cards.
Should Pokemon develop a Hall of Fame?
Induction into the Hall of Fame, of course retires a card, never allowing it to be reprinted again. This establishes a history for the cards that have dominated the format at one point or another. Every year, they pick one card to send to the Hall of Fame, knowing it can never be reprinted after induction.
No card from standard may be chosen.
I just think that it would be cool to have a Hall of Fame collection of cards that show the history and development of the game.
