Halp me decide on a deck for BR's...?

These coming Spring BR's will be my first official league games.
And I don't have a clue what to play.
Currently, the only deck I have all the cards for is Amphy-Lock. But, I think Dialga G will still be popular, so that may not work out too well.

So basically, I'd like some recommendations for a deck to play, without any of them mentioning Machamp or G decks.

I have some decent cards, just not enough to build something worthwhile.​

Shuppet's possible. I have 3 of them, and 3 RH Bannette.
I might make some Bannette rogue. Maybe. Maybe not. Ugh. :[

BlastCatty doesn't appeal to me. I'm too used to destroying it with Amphy. Haha.​
 
Flygon? (if you have the cards)

If not, why not give a shot at a Mismagius deck featuring some tool-unowns? It can pack a punch early on given a good setup, and maintain it for the entire game if needed? However, the later the game -> the lower the effect of the damage output will matter.
 
Any other time, TFO, I would play Aqua Volt.
But, I haven't gotten the chance to buy any RR packs yet, and I highly doubt my first bundle will contain the ones I need.

So, I think I've narrowed it down a bit.
I wanna play something fun. Something I'll be able to proudly play, but still get something accomplished.

So, the most likely choice for me is Rhyperior (go ahead, bash me).
But it has a great Luxray and Raichu GL matchup, and can take a hit from most other decks. Plus, it's not like anyone plans to have to counter it.

Another option I'm thinking about is Torterra. I have a SF Tort, which is what tipped me off, and two DP Torts, as well as a Lv.X.

Yet another option is Amphy-Lock. Or a spread of some sort, depending what my friend has to trade.

I'm gonna go run to Target and pick up a Rhyperior tin while they stil have them available.

Keep suggesting guys, these are just the ones I've come up with myself.

I havne't been keeping with the discussion thing, but Kingdra? Donk capable, and really fast.
 
Yeah, I've decided to run Rhyperior. I just need a few cards and I'll be ready for BRs.

Went to Target and got a tin.
In my first three packs, I pulled mediocre cards, (included a holo Scott ^^), and then in my LA pack, I pulled Mesprit Lv.X!
Great purchase. ;D​

Strategy: Get damage counters onto Turtwig Giga drain for 60 and heal 60. Use Alakazam lv X to repeatedly put damage counters onto Turtwig. Then keep healing 60. It's quite hard to OHKO a Turtwig. Even if you CAN deal 100 I'll have Snowpoint by then. It also has the general ToxiTank strategy.

You don't need the Alakazam lv x's but it DEFINITELY helps. Anyway, thats my build.
 
he can, he just doesn't thinks his 1st RR packs will contain the needs for aquavolt, but 4 commons isn't so hard...
 
Play gyarados with abomasnow and bronzong,it'll atleast be fun to discard your opponent's cards and its an easy deck to play and construct,just get the theme deck and you are nearly set.
