Two weeks later after no replies:

Member 43: hey how do you get a pokemon card? and happy birthday?!

Mod: Please don't revive threads. *Lock*)x3.4^100

This goes on forever and ever. Members just post to spam and get a higher total post number. If this postcount++ thing keeps going on, I might die.

Or maybe not. What's your counter argument? We must wish these people a happy birthday. We have free speech.

So, why not combine everything into a single happy birthday thread, or just make your birthday comments longer and nicer. Something more worthwhile to read rather than happy birthday X.

Just a suggestion.

Well, no. I still prefer to wish people happy birthday in their own specific thread. It's better that way. All crammed up into one thread, no one will ever bother to check back.

No I agree with Ka'mewie, I think the specific birthday threads are, more friendly and personable. We can have a locking system where a week after the members birthday gets deleted or locked or something.

Lol, there is no more postcount SN. >.> It was removed, but it can still be found by average posts per day*days joined. Nevertheless, just keep it to the way it is, then remind them about the PM system.

I don't think happy birthday threads have gotten too out of hand, and I agree that having one giant thread makes the whole thing kind of impersonal and unimportant. "Discussion" in the threads only lasts for a couple days at the most and threads that do get out of hand with random spam or birthday wishing get locked.

So I think it's fine the way it is now. I don't see a need to change.

lol, guys, I think SNN made this thread just to get his idea of having one thread for all the birthday threads. It isn't PMJ's birthday. xD

Now I messed everyone up thinking that this is a B-Day thread. Once I saw it in the Site Discussion I figured it out. It's not anyone's Birthday guys. :p

The reason I say combine is that I hate seeing old Birthday threads posting in by spammers and then having your thread locked/deleted. Having one stickied thread, where anyone can post and reply to many members, clears up that problem.

Could not agree more! I am hoping some one makes one for me on my b-day, its just more friendly the way it is now!

Yeah, other than an occasional n00b reviving one, the birthday threads don't really have any problems.

Sorry to all those who laughed, it wasn't meant to be a joke. At first, I put Happy Birthday WPM, but since I wasn't taking this thread seriously, I put PMJ in the thread itself. It seems that someone edited my thread title.
