RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

I have Green version. It's a fun challenge if you've already beaten an American version of the game and don't know Japanese. It's interesting to see how much Pokemon has improved, too. I'd buy it if I were you.

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

I guess the prices are okay as long as the game works. Have you played red blue or green before?

^I have the america copy of Red. It was lots of fun :3

Thank you

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

Yes it is, but he wants to try it anyway.

The old pokémon designs are hilarious, and it's very retro (Down-to-the-bones original pokémon feeling just like the creators dreamed it, like the Adventures manga) if that's worth it for you, buy it, but in essence, compared to Red/Blue, it's just a worse version in Japanese.

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

That makes me want a copy, but I already have a super long list and not enough money. (I have a lot of PA manga volumes!)

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

Another question.
Should i try to get it with its box and booklet? The collecter side of me is wanting to. Would it be worth it?

Well, you are only getting it for the collector value, right? If you just wanted to try the game out, there would be other methods.
I'd definitely get it with everything. If for nothing else, to sell it again ten years later :)
Also, a booklet full of classic Sugimori artwork? DO WANT.

I'd get it with everything, yes.

The only English Green version that exists is Leaf Grean I have heard that the original green is much harder than it's predecessors though. I have not played it but I have heard that but I doubt that it would be any harder. If they did make it hard for Japan I bet it would be fun though.:)

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

Ok!!! *takes down note*
1. Buy with everything
2. Will be challengeing (was harder than Leaf Green and is in Japanese)
3. If it doesn't work, I can't forget that I can still sell it!!! xD

Ok. Thank you so much Guilty spark, FlamingDriscoll09, Gabriel, and xxashxx!

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

How could it be harder, besides being in a different language. Do the gym leaders and other trainers have higher level Pokemon than in red and blue or something?

RE: Has anyone ever played Green?

Red/Green and Red/Blue are almost exactly the same barring graphical differences, different Pokemon in each version, and a different layout for Unknown Dungeon.
