I had a seller once stall for nearly a month and a half before eBay stepped in and gave me a full refund. Not saying this guy is stalling, but it is a possibility. Have you opened a case with eBay at all? Of course, if you still have the package, it should have his return address on it.

Yes he is stalling for sure. I did open a case through ebay and that's part of the reason he is mad.
I want to make sure I get the refund before I send the card back. We will see.

What? The seller already sent fezwhy a message saying he'd give a full return for return of the card -- he never refused.
At worst, the seller deserves a neutral rating for the issue; he's clearly willing to work with fezwhy to find a solution ("You can send it back for a full refund.") so a negative feedback isn't warranted.
MrSquarepants said:...! ...I must have been thinking about a different case. I could have sworn I was reading something among the lines "The card I sent was perfectly fine. You're clearly trying to scam me and damaged the card in order to get a free card. It does not qualify for a refund and I have sent every card like this with no issue."
Sorry if I'm mistaken.
fezwhy said:I see the bend, but that is not enough to warrant a full refund. If you want a partial refund, I can abide that for that damage. You can send it back for a full refund.
...the seller has made it quite clear he would be willing to give fezwhy a refund, provided the card is returned. The seller is certainly within his rights to withhold a full refund until he gets the card back. Sure, he's [unfortunately] not jumping the gun to offer a refund, but the offer was made. It seems like you're forgetting that point.fezwhy said:Now he says he will refund my money. However he still hasn't replied back with his address to send it back. Your sarcasm is not lost on me, but it seems you are in fact mistaken. I just don't see why you can be so sure the seller is refusing a refund, when...

Regardless, opening an eBay case was the correct thing to do. Have you heard back from the seller yet, fezwhy?

It was my first post here I was certain he said something like the seller refused a refund but it was a different thread with another user with a Charizard avatar that had a problem with a seller. By the time you replied as well as the member having this issue, my reaction was "oh so he DID offer a refund... could have sworn he refused... derp." ...which was my previous post you thought was sarcasm...
Jeez man did you have to sock it to me that bad? I just wanted to give the guy tips if he had that particular problem. Sellers who refuse refunds irritate me as I have had many personal experiences with it...
EDIT: Just a point to bring up... I have never gotten a refund for shipping in my cases... was I supposed to? Usually the seller is like "ugh... fine here's your refund. But I will not refund shipping charges as it has arrived to you and you are responsible for payment to ship it back".
My apologies, then! Sarcasm is hard to read over posts, and I mistakenly took yours as such...I feel bad now.
To answer your question, in the few cases where I've returned a card, I've paid for return shipping. I think it all depends on the seller, to be honest. On eBay, I believe it should be detailed under the "Shipping/Returns" section whether or not buyer pays return shipping (and I think that's usually the case). PokeChimpo must have gotten a very well-versed and wonderful seller.
fezwhy said:Well I still don't have a refund and he isn't responding to any of my messages. I will give him a few more days before I just go through paypal and get my money back. My case will automatically be closed Dec 29th whether it's resolved or not.
Frustrated with this guy. All I want is a refund.
