• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Having trouble getting a good houndoom prime deck going

So far what i have is basic:

3 - Spiritomb (keystone seal)
4 - Skorupi (T)
2 - Drapion (T)
4 - Houndour (UD)
4 - Houndoom Prime (UD)
4 - Eevee (UD)
3 - Umbreon Prime (UD)
2 - Absol Prime (T)


3 - Pokemon communication
4 - Emcee's Chatter
1 - Speed Stadium
2 - Cheerleader's Cheer
4 - Interviewer's Questions

1 - Rescue Energy
4 - Special Dark Energy (dont know if you can have more then 4)
15 - Dark Energy

This is just thrown together so any suggestion is welcome, I am Limited to HGSS - Call of legends mainly have some from older collections but limited

Criticism Time!

I used to run this deck, so I can hopefully help.

I would add in 2-4 of the Reflip Victini (just as a precursor), since it will most probably be released globally, and it can be used to help you burn the opponent more easily.

I also don't see the need in Umbreon Prime. He works alone, not with other {d} types.
Good Dark types that it can be paired with, however, include Mandibuzz BW (if you don't have any, you can buy them quite cheaply), Umbreon UD (non-Prime) and Weavile (UD). Also, Tyranitar Prime. That's all that springs to mind.

The correct abbreviation for Triumphant is actually TR. Just me being picky, but it helps. ;D
