Has some trouble with Mr. Mime but is handled easily with Hitmonchan. Wrecks bulky Pokemon and Evolution Deck members with Hitmonchan hitting hard and Zapdos spreading damage with Thunderstorm. Tell me what you think!

The Deck needs some fixes.

1. I don't feel like Scyther being so important without any Grass Energies. A few can be teched as a quick attacker because of its free retreat cost and DCE splashability, but I think 4 is too much.
2. Haymaker is famous from its beatdown and speed. However, Zapdos requires a slow setup, which not really fits with the Deck's style. If you are allowed to use Team Rocket cards, I think Rocket's Zapdos would be a much better choice along with Electabuzz.
3. You have too much energy. I think reducing the number of them could speed up the Deck a bit, even if you keep the original concept. I'd surely drop at least 4 Fighting Energies (6 would be ideal if you ask me) and 1 or 2 Lightning Energies for the current setup.
4. Some of the cards from your Trainer line is not needed. Pokedex and Poké Ball are just too slow for any Unlimited format (even if some of the cards are not allowed to be used).

I think we need more information to give you further help. What cards are you allowed to use? (I ask it since you used Base Set-on cards, so knowing if you are allowed to use in this modified any cards, or maybe just Neo-on or Team Rocket-on cards would be better).

Hope that helps!

I was wanting to build this using up to TR or into the Gyms if necessary. Hmmm... I don't really like Rocket's Zapdos since it pretty much kills itself with it's second attack and it's suicide(Late game) to use it's first If you want to do big damage later.

Yeah, I could take out the PokeBalls, but Pokedex is pretty good with Bill. I don't know, what do you think I could add? I could throw in some machops maybe.

Rocket's Zapdos is still faster because of cards like Item Finder, Computer Search and Prof. Oak: they discard for you some Lighting Energies which can be recycled by R's Zapdos's first attack. Mostly it will take some attack and yeah, it is a suicide mission, but that 70 attack is huge in a format up to Gym (with no Neo cards) - it mostly kills everything. And even if it's in a trouble, potion still can help in it, or even super potion. With it, Energy Retrieval is even unnecessary. Oh, and Scoop Up can save your R's Zapdos's ass anytime.

For the current setting: I'd definitely drop the 2 Poké Balls and Pokédex, Even Bills are unnecessary: what you need is 4 Prof. Oak, 4 Computer Search and some Item Finders (try 3 or 4, it's your preference). Everything you need can be recycled with it, and because you dropped a lots of cards for these two cards, Oak will be a huge card advantage. However, if you want, you can keep Bills since some players feel it consistent and don't really prefer these turbo engines - even if you feel it important, add 2 Item Finders. Also, try to max out PlusPowers (or at least keep it at 3)! These are the power of Haymaker.

I will post my own version of this Deck - as you requested, I'll keep Zapdos's.

Pokémon (13)

4 Hitmonchan (Base)
3 Zapdos (Fossil)
3 Electabuzz (Base)
3 Scyther (Jungle)

Trainer (26)

4 Computer Search
4 Pluspower
4 Energy Removal
3 Super Energy Removal
3 Professor Oak
3 Item Finder
2 Gust of Wind
2 Scoop Up
1 Energy Retrieval

Energy (21)

6 Fighting Energy
8 Lightning Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy

Of course feel free to modify anything you want, since this is just a base. You can also modify the Poké lines, you can even try out Rocket's Scyther which is pretty decent if you ask me (just like R's Hitmonchan), so the possibilities are endless.

Hope that helps! :)

EDIT: Little modification: removed some energies and added 4 Rainbow Energies. It is really helpful if you ask me in dual-colored Decks.

I'll see about it. I'll need some money first to get some of these. I'm not even sure if it's worth it since I don't have too many people to play with. Thanks for the help, I'll see what I'll do.

As I said, it is just a base, you can modify it as you want OR as you can build without spending too much money on cards. I think the Poké line is the most important, as 3 Electabuzz can be really helpful in your Deck. Also maxing out the Energy Removal is also important while not having too much energies. So, yeah, even with removing/adding 1 or 2 cards you can improve your Deck without a complete revamp.

Like this:

-6 Fighting Energy
-2 Pokédex
-2 Pokéball

+3 Electabuzz
+3 Energy Removal
+2 Pluspower
+2 cards of your choice. You can even keep 2 [F] Energies if you want.

If you consider a bigger reboot of the Deck, I'd suggest to you the using of Base Set (2) Zapdos. Also, if you consider using cards from different sets too (like everything is allowed except B&W), you can consider other cards like Zapdos G and Aerodactyl GL.
