Hey beachbums,
So there's a Pokemon coming out of BUS that has peaked my interest:
Heatmor – Fire – HP110
Basic Pokemon
[C][C] Odor Sleuth: Flip 2 coins. For each heads, put a card from your discard pile into your hand.
[R][C][C] Searing Flame: 60 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Burned.
Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2
Want to get some input here because with all of the energy denial cards we have now, do you think it's possible to consistently hammer off all of your opponent's energy? Meaning, with Victini, you're probably going to be pulling at least one if not two cards out of your discard each turn. This means you will have a vast supply of crushing hammers, flare grunts, skull grunts, plumeria, e hammers, delinquent etc. that you can use to barrage your opponent with denial cards. I'm just wondering what you all think about the chances of this actually working? Part of me is thinking that there's no way, it just won't translate into reality, but part of me is thinking, that's a lot of hammers, this just might be viable.
