Most fire Pokemon that are popular right now (excluding charizards) only do a max of 120-180, like pyroar for example. Can you think of any competitive Pokemon other then that who can? The only other good one I can think of is embor or delfox and even then they are more of a support Pokemon then main attackers.

A fire Pokemon that does 120 1HKOs Mega Venusaur...

Yveltal probably won't be loaded with energy to the point where it can 1HKO Mega Venusaur, but it's definitely possible. Also, any Dark deck can have way more than 3 Energy in play on turn 3, at least until Dark Patch is gone.

That I can understand, I just don't know of any Fire EX's that hit that hard.

As for dark patch, that's what startling megaphone and Skyla are for :)

Well, Charizard EX for one, hits for 150, and as weakness goes, 300 damage.

And I have no idea what you mean by your statement regarding Dark Patch, but as that goes, you should reconsider your Yveltal matchup. It's pretty clear that Yveltal is one of the best cards of the format, and whereas he requires a few energy to OHKO you (four Energy, a Muscle Band and a Laser under a Garbodor) you're still in range of being OHKO'd by the most popular deck in the format.

RE: Heavy Lifeage (M Venusaur EX / Floette)

Hey Kecleon! Just thought I'd say thanks for all the helpful tips for my new deck!

I think I have decided to run the deck like this:

Attackers:

M Venusaur
Abomasnow

Support Pokemon:

Virizion
Celebi
Churribi (evolution)

So it will be a tight deck, but it should work in the end. (I'm also buying 2 sinister hand dusknoir just in case.

Once finished I'll edit my post and shair the results with you! Thanks again!

RE: Heavy Lifeage (M Venusaur EX / Floette)

personally, I like the serperior/reuniclus combo better than floette and celebi ex. Serperior heals 10 damage from all your pokemon in between turns. Reuniclus lets you move damage counters. So you can easily get rid of nearly all the damage by the time it gets back to your turn, and basically it becomes situation where the only way you can be knocked out is if they one hit you. And since mega venasaur has so much HP, this is highly unlikely. I still think mega venasaur is the best mega for you to use because crisis vine can be very annoying for your opponent and that way you can use virizion for energy accel and avoiding special conditions since a special condition on your big M venasaur can be really annoying and hard to remove. Just my humble opinion. Giant cape can make it harder for something to one hit venasaur Also, if you are worried about weakness, you could consider leafany or even plasma frigate and throw in a couple plasma energy, with genesect ex for 100% catchers or to remove weakness from venasaur. Gen can also be a good backup attacker IDK

RE: Heavy Lifeage (M Venusaur EX / Floette)

Another thing to consider is using Blend Energy, the one with the Grass and Dark Energy on it, and use Shadow Circle to remove your Weakness.
