• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

I am really lost as to what to play and need some feed back.
I will be attending my first league soon and would like to show up with a decently competitive deck. Unfortunately I dont have money for tapu lele like most other posts haha ;p.

So I have been thinking about volcanion, alolan ninetales gx, espeon/garb.
However, I am open to any suggestions you might have!
My budget is probably around 100-120. I might be able to be convinced to go a bit higher.

All of the decks you mentioned will be definitely competitive in the post-rotation, Standard format. There are a number of other decks you might find interesting too in the Competitive Forum. But of the 3 you mentioned, I'd suggest:
  • Review deck lists of example decks in the Deck Garage to get a quick understanding of the cards you'll need. (For Tapu Lele GXs, consider opting to use another card-draw Supporter)
  • Estimate an investment cost you'll need to make for each deck option.
  • Prioritize your deck options using criteria like your playing style, investment cost, availability of needed cards, etc.
Of the decks you referenced, I'd recommend reviewing and assessing Espeon -Garbodor, Alolan Ninetales GX and Volcanion EX decks in that order.

Espeon/Garb was my original choice but I started to think about other decks as well haha. I think I am gonna go with that, as I already have a couple of pieces for that deck! thanks :)
