I have €50 which I want to spend on Pokémon-related products, ie, TCG, Plushies, Binders, etc.

According to XE.com
€47.50* is equal to:
£45, $66, ¥6,015.
*€2.50 is the fee for the prepaid credit card I will be using.

Here are my options:

-I want to start collecting the older sets (Base-Neo) so I'd be buying random collections of cards, old boosters and single cards to complete whole sets.
-Platinum is coming out in February and I can save up for a booster box.
-PT2: Bonds Till the End of Time was release on 12/26/08 and I've seen booster boxes for sale on eBay.

if you play competitively, i would get DPT2, for new cards and such, i f not then definitely go for the older sets.

I try to make decks and such but they have no leagues or anything in Ireland. In Northern Ireland you're luck to get a pre-release event.

I was just a kid when Base Set was around, and whenever I was naughty my mum always ripped up my cards.
And I was into Yu-Gi-Oh during the Neo series :/
So I'm still torn between the two. Not so much BET.

$66 won't even get you Base 1, let alone Base - Neo. I wouldn't pick this option unless you plan on investing a lot more.
