Help Help Needed Cleaning Pokémon Card

Hello,

I have recently got back into collecting Pokemon cards and recently discovered that the full art "N" trainer card from Noble Victories is now worth around $100 USD. I remembered I had one so I went to go find it only to discover that it somehow ended up in a dollar store laminate sleeve. I managed to remove it but it still has a few tiny spots of residue left on the card. I was wondering what the best way was to clean it off if possible is?

Thanks, -Ryan

I would take good photos of it, be upfront about the situation and try to sell it as is for ~75-90% of retail value

Okay I think this is what I will do. I don't want to risk harming the card anymore than it already is so I will probably just discount it when I decide to sell it. I was worried the value would be less than 50% the original but if I can manage to get close to or above 75% original value I think I will be pretty happy. :)

Thanks for your help, -Ryan

post a photo here and Im sure people can help you value it, if not receive outright offers to buy it
75% is just my guess, I have no idea what the market value of that item would be. It really sounds like a good candidate for an auction listing actually.

Good news. I actually managed to get all the residue off by carefully using my fingernail. ( Although I do admit it may have been a bit of a risk :p ). All the residue was actually only on the border of the card in very small pieces. Even under a bright flashlight there is none left and no visible scratch marks.

Although there was one more thing I wanted to ask if anyone came across this post and knew anything about it. Does anyone know or have an opinion on whether the price of this card will continue to go up or if it is near its peak already? I could not find much information online about why people were paying so much for this card right now.

Thanks again, -Ryan

If/when they release the best of XY Japanese N Full Art, the old FA price will tank. For reference see FA ultra ball. Will they do it? I cant imagine why they wouldnt, as some of the art is already being released in promos (like the FA Jolteon EX) as an easy way to sell promo boxes.
