• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Hello. I'm new around here. I picked up the card game after the remake of Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Love those games~! So I decided to collect the cards too. This is actually my reason for only having HGSS cards so please, go easy on me.

I plan on using Eevee tree to stall and deal minor damage at the moment. In doing so, I'm hoping to have an upper hand in terms of prize cards left. While stalling, I want to get Vespiqueen with a rainbow energy in the bench. It will have 1 damage counter on it and then abuse Combee's attack with Rescue energy. If all goes well, I should be trading 1 Combee for 1 enemy pokemon. If not, Slowbro is my fall back plan.

whats your strategy??

you seem to have too many pokemon in your deck and too many types.
most traditional decks focus on 1-2 pokemon with 1-2 types of energies

Thank you for the help. I'm gonna try to update this post a bit.

I feel like I can run Umbreon anyway since it's 1 dark energy. Most of my other pokemon do not rely on specific energy type to attack. It helps a lot considering I'm running a Espeon Prime no?
 
You can either focus on Victreebel TR or Umbreon UD. Both belong in there own deck, there's no point in playing them together. So would you rather focus on Umbreon or Victreebel?
 
Since you don't have Palmers, maybe add a Flower Shop Lady (UD) for recovery.
