So basically I'm looking at selling some Pokemon cards on ebay, I have pretty much the whole set of Generations and Evolutions (just missing a few from each) and was just wondering if I should sell them as almost completed sets in folders or just all the ones that are worth money individually?

the second option would take way longer but could make more money, what do you lot think?

Thanks for your help :)

In my experience, few people are interested in buying complete card sets. However, you can first search yourself to see if there are any current auctions just to see what the market prices might be there online. Also, your transaction satisfaction rating and number of transactions will play a big part in helping someone decide if he/she would purchase an entire card set from you. For example, if you have a "high" transaction satisfaction rating, like 98.6%+, over "many" transactions, like 500+, potential buyers might be interested in buying your card set. But, if either of these ratings are "low,", one may not be so interested

Also, when you price the card set's important cards, you may find selling these cards individually would be easier and more profitable.

Hi! here talking is one of those interested in complete sets so maybe I can give you the point of view of the buyers.

Sadly a card set is or complete or worthless so if you gonna sell a set, such as evolutions, like"Full evolutions set, some cards are missing" I guarantee that unless those card are commons or uncommons no one will buy it (I want to spend much but just one time, buying a full set meaning also no waste of time)

So I full agree with TuxedoBlack when he talks about the role of number of transactions that not only will give you sooner more cash but also will improve your visibility in e-markets like ebay.

If you are looking at the profit here is my advice: sell the more expensive and desired cards of the set (maybe selling them a little lower than the average price) and the deed is done!
