I'm hoping to get some help to fine tune the deck I have been working on below, I haven't been playing long so only have 1 vs seeker, no Shaymin ex, and already playing the max number of Lapras, Ninetails, Drampa & Tapu Lele I have.

I’m playing this as a water deck, and Drampa for some variety. By playing this as a water deck predominantly I have found people start using there item cards like normal as everyone is already aware of Garbador and what it can do. I have Garbador in there just to have up my sleeve for the end of the game and it has come in quite handy (that’s also why I’m playing the 1 – 2 line so it reduces the chance of me getting stuck with Trubbish at the start of a game.

If you could please offer some help, with trainers (I currently have 4 different types of draw supporters!?) and any advice that would be much appreciated.

I would play 4 Sycamores and 4 Ultra Balls because this are standart cards wich can help in any situation. Another good addition would be Nest Ball because it can get you Lele, Drampa and Lapras out.

Quick thing to note: nest ball puts Lele directly on your bench and not into your hand so you can't use Lele's ability.

IMO pick a color. No deck season has placed top 8 using two different basic energy. Garbodor is the BDIF right now.

Thanks guys all valid points
I got sucked into 2 different every for the first time as I wanted to be able to have a basic for Tapu and therefore use all his attacks then added garbador from there.
Also noob question, what does BDIF mean?
I'm temper to go a water with tapu for all the trainers to help.
Or do you think toxapex, garbador and tapu is a better option and scroll the water?
Thanks

My apologies I meant to make that a little bit more of a comment but got interrupted.

BDIF = best deck in format. Garbodor is beatable - I lost to Volcanion and Decidueye decks tonight playing Garb - but both of those decks had absolutely tremendous turn 1's and I completely dead drew on both of my turn 1's. It can be beaten, but it takes a really good deck and that really good deck HAS to have a really good start combined with a very poor start by the Garb deck. Plus, Garb is relatively inexpensive and it won't be tough for you to get.

Also, in case you don't know, you can buy card codes online and they're pretty inexpensive. That will help you test to see what to buy in reality, if you're planning on playing with cards.

IMO - and there will be a TON of people who disagree with me - but I would NOT run a water deck that's weak to Grass. There are WAY too many good Grass decks (Decidueye GX, Lurantis GX, Vespiquen, Trevenant). FoGP (Forest of Giant Plants) gives Grass decks such an advantage that running Water decks that are weak to Grass is almost an autoloss.

I love Toxapex GX but I'm not sure it's the right pairing with Garb although I haven't tried those two myself. This is all uncharted territory. It's anybody's guess whether or not you'll have success with that duo, but honestly you could probably pair Wishiwashi with Garb and win more than you lose.

I like Hala with Drampa if you can use the GX attack Big Wheel ... but as that may be inconsistent, my preference would be Sycamore and Birch. I don't run N because I have found that it improves your opponent's hand about twice as often as it hurts it. Tonight I had two matches where my opponent almost certainly would have beaten me... but then he played N and completely revitalized my hand and ended up losing. Again, a majority of players will disagree with this, but I have done a study that shows that N helps your opponent twice as often as it hurts him.

VS Seekers help a lot later in the game, but you need to run at least eight draw support cards for proper consistency - I frequently run more than that. Prior to Garb, I was often running 4 Random Receivers to help improve draw consistency, but I have to seriously reconsider that since item cards are now basically just Trashalance fuel.

Try to run four Field Blower. At least on PTCGO, people are still running a ton of items and stadiums. Until people start running less tools, you will not regret running a four of. In decks where I don't run 4, I'm always wishing I had more.

I only run Prof Letter in decks that I run Skyla.

Your psychic energy count is going to probably be nine, maybe ten - IMO that's not enough for Elixirs. You need to run 12 basic energy for elixirs, anything less and you'll fail them too much. Also, I only run elixirs in all basic decks.

You might want to consider Olympia instead of switch - one less item card and potentially can be used multiple times with VS Seeker.

Again, many of my suggestions are controversial - I question the meta every chance I get, and the answer I come up with is frequently different than most people's. Feel free to make judgments for yourself. And remember - it's just a game. The worst thing that happens is that you see the ugly red DEFEAT at the end of the match. And honestly you're going to learn more from your losses than your wins, so losing isn't always a bad thing.

Good luck, PM me if you'd like to take this off line.
