I too run a Volcanion deck; so, following are a few thoughts for your consideration:
  • IMO, the focus of the deck is grounded in and around Volcanion and Volcanion EX; so, 3 Flareon EXs increases your chances of starting with it vs. Volcanion which is your primary starter.
  • Both Volcanion and Volcanion EX should be maxed-out.
  • A 1-of Talonflame has a very low chance of ever being a starter.
  • Further, a 1-1 Octillery line is a "high" risk of not getting Octillery into play should either be prized. My rule of thumb is to run a minimum of a 2-2 line If the deck is dependent upon this Pokémon for card-draw support.
After playing lots of games, I'm now of the opinion that the "aggressive" build works best. So, before I offer further comments (which would suggest altering your deck perhaps more than you might want, I'd suggest you first review other builds already posted in this Deck Garage, perhaps revise your original post above, and respond with a comment regarding your particular play-style. Then, I will thereafter provide further feedback.

Flareon-EX doesn't really belong in a Volcanion deck. Reason being it's attack isn't much greater than volcanion-EX's and it doesn't grant the bonus that volcanion-EX does when bench sitting. Also, baby volcanion can be a 3-of in builds that run 3 float stone. For what its worth, the weakness of this strategy (fright night yveltal) is losing a lot of power as the GX-metagame proceeds. Run an Olympia for just in case.
Imo, ninja boy is just wishful thinking here; its not just you that wants to make it a cool tech, everyone does. :p
Also, never stray below 3 stadiums in volcanion due to silent lab spam decks (from expirience playing said sl spam decks)

I found Flareon EX to be quite useful in my Volcanion deck (in fact, I know of no player who does not run at least 1 Flareon EX in his/her deck). Flareon EX's usefulness is demonstrated when you move R energy around, as well as when you can inflict well beyond 130 HP damage repeatedly without Pokémon Ranger to 1HKO key opponent targets.

This is the deck that I run as of right now I haven't had the chance to revise it with sun and moon cards that will help the deck out. But all in all the deck is very aggressive and has a chance to first turn flareon with 3 energies and at least 2 volcanion on the bench hitting for 170 without fighting fury belt.

Well, my apologies as I admitt I have 0 experience playing volcanion, but from playing against it I have found sky field variant that focuses on float stone and only runs 1-2 fury belt to be the most scary (and can attack repeatedly without ranger). I just feel like Flareon-EX doesn't solve any of the deck's problems: a bit of a win-more card.

It may be good in some senarios, however it definately shouldn't be depended on to the point of playing 2 copies, but don't take my word for it; @TuxedoBlack I can clearly see you've considered flareon-EX heavily and it must therefore work to some degree. If a volcanion player testifies that it is good, who am I to say otherwise.
Also, I can see float stone over fury belt is poor for the mirror match.
Also, anything related to rattata is not a reason to make flareon-EX a good alternative to float stone...
Also, also, @Nemesis1125 Could you elaborate about the DCEs?

The DCE's I use for dragonite or if I'm in a situation were someone lysanders a card up that don't have float stone on.
