Help with Fake Cards?

Im not sure if this is the best place to put this.... So, sorry.


Bascially, I have tons of ideas for Fake Cards. Tons and tons. I have Gimp and most of the other resources needed. HOWEVER, I still have no clue what to do with it all.

Can someone maybe post a video or DETAILED step by step instruction handbook for this please?

Starting from the very beginning, working up to the finished product.
-What fonts to use where and HOW to edit and apply them.
-How to edit and apply the picture art.
-How to edit and apply all other parts such as Energy symbols, Poke Power or Poke Bodies, attacks and everything else.

I've looked online for guides, but nothing I found made sense.
I just need someone to walk me through my first fake card and then I should be able to do it myself. (Looks at Gliscor) lol


If I can get anyone to help me out, this thread can then be deleted.

The correct fonts for HGSS faking is mostly :-

Gill Sans Std
Sanvito pro
Futura

^
You will need the above sets.

That helps a bit, but I still have the problem of not knowing how to use any of my editing programs. All I have is GIMP. I have no clue how to adjust pixels or apply the different font text to it....

Sorry mate, I can't help you on Gimp. I use Photoshop CS4 and 5 so yeah, I know nothing about Gimp.

If you need more help than that, however, please specify what you're having trouble with--exactly what you're having trouble with (and list it, if there's more than one thing). I'm pretty new at Gimp myself, but I can walk you through some of the most basic things you need to do to get started, if that's what you need right now. ^_~

I use Gimp too for fakes but I am also having problems with the font download. Other than that, I can walk you through it completly.
