I bought all these cards and they came up to $69.35 with shipping. Where can I get them for cheaper?

I bought them at the Gathering Grounds which were great on some cards, like holo Roserade for $2 each and CG Venusaur for $1. However do you think they are fake cards? But some thing likes Rare Candy were $4, Scott $3, etc...

As a beginner, would I save a lot of money just buying a championship deck for like $9?

Pokemon (22)

4-3-3 Roserade

3-2-3 Venusaur

2-2 Vespiquen

Trainers (20)

3 Scott

3 PokeNav

3 Speed Stadium

4 Holon Mentor

3 Celio's Network

3 Rare Candy

2 Great Ball

2 Master Ball

Energy (15)

7 Grass Energy

4 Boost Energy

2 Cyclone Energy

2 Warp Energy

You are 3 cards short..
The grass combo is quite nice if you're a beginner, but you will lose a lot because of the horrible trainers. Try to replace Speed Stadium for Low Pressure System and replace the balls for 3 Prof. Elm's, and add another Rare Candy. Replace the Pokenav for 3 TV Reporter.

If she'd do that, she'd blow 15 bucks on only Venusaur.

Lady - Your best bet is to go to a local league and ask around there. There is bound to be someone selling.

Also, these are 61 cards. 24 trainers, not 20.

Finally, DONT buy a championship deck. You cant use those cards anyway in tourney play.

And oh, if I were you I'd check at multiple card shops, see what price difference you can get. Make lists of which card costs what where.

The other closed down :(. There is only one, and the owner is nice, but he is into Magic. I was appalled when he had only five Pokemon singles in the whole store to sell. I am not paying $9 for a foil Torchic, buddy.

I nabbed Venusar for one dollar :). I hope it's real :(...

well good luck

You can easily find the cards you on the internet on sites like eBay.
Just be careful when buying cards from there, as a friend of mine got scammed into thinking that he was getting a real Latias *.
