attach energy with emboar LZ with magnezone to OHKO anything

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

Cheren isn't in our B/W set I dont think, is it? I dont recall. I would rather put in these:

-4 Cheren (since he isnt there)

+2 Juniper
+2 Fisherman.

Reason being that a) Cheren to my knowledge isnt in our set. b) If you need more Energy out of your discard, you can fish'em out.

Just a thought

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

sigh i wish cheren was in our set. ANYWAY energies dont go to the discard they go to the LZ. maybe i should - the samurott line and add in blastoise...

ill update with the 2 juniper

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

I run a HGSS deck of this and it works really well.
I'm not saying you should change these but still...
I use 2 Mantine as as starter but i'm looking for somthing better.
I have one more electric energy and one more water energy.
What is IQ and what does it do?

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

Where are your collectors?
Change the Gatr line to Emboar
Change the water NRG to Fire
Remove the Samurott line.
Add in: 1 Shuckle Promo and Unown Return,4 Collectors and 2 Seekers.
In my opinion is Emboar better. Since it can attach to magnezone prime itself and in combination with Shuckle you can have never ending drawpower.

I second, third, and fourth the Emboar idea.

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

boarzone...i like the sound of that lol. BUT the secondary attack is the problem. if magnezones go down and i need a finisher that is why i have serperior. IQ is interviewers questions. you look at top 8 cards of your deck and put all the energies in your hand. also why would i need more than 2 energies on magnezone? just manually attack water then rain dance. i guess it doesnt matter to much what i use (feraligatr or emboar) but i already have some of the cards for magnegatr...so ya.

RE: HGSS-on MagneGatr

You don't...but you're not understanding where I'm coming from. With Emboar, you can use it's Ability to put a {R} nrg on Magnezone, then attach {L} manually to pay for the {L}{C} cost. With Feraligatr, you need 2 energy attachments to Magnezone because Feraligatr can't Rain Dance to Magnezone, only to itself and other {W} manz. Emboar can put energy directly on Magnezone with it's Ability. You take one less turn overall to set up, and subsequently, attack.

hmm....i guess. ill update it with the feraligatr line being emboar. so what to do with my pokemon problem. maybe a 2-2 ninetails?

you really dont need ninetales because you already have magnezone prime, right?

and plus you should really use all ur energy for lost zoning

^ good point i just need more basics because i can already see multiple mulligans

might be weird but, maybe some reshirams? 130 hp basic doing 120 for 3 eneries, and with emboar you keep adding the energies. and if you do that throwing in the typhlosion line would be nice

I think you should add a 1-1-1 line of Reuniclus. It's just an awesome Pokémon. That way, when your Magnezone is almost getting KOed you move the damage t another Pokémon. Maybe you could add 2 or 3 Seekers to remove the damage for the damaged and benched Pokémon.

That energy amount is good but I prefer (I have this deck too) 4 Electric and 16 Fire. Also I find energy exchanger useful as it lets you drop extra energy by swapping electric to fire. Personally I don't like Junipers and think an extra 2 Interviewers would be better. Shuckle Promo is good draw power and I also use 4 Pokeball but I'm looking to replace them.
So:
-2 Juniper

+2 Shuckle Promo
+2 Interviewers Questions
+1 Fire Energy
+1 Water Energy
+4 Energy Exchanger

Hope I helped!

Looks like you completely missed this is a HGSS-On list

Such a shame Expert Belt is in Arceus. Anywho, why play 4-4-4 Zone w/ Rare Candy? i'd run

3-2-3 Zone Prime
2-1-2 Emboar
1-1 Dodrio UD or Slowking HGSS
3 Minum UL
1 Cleffa HGSS

4 Rare Candy
3 Communication
4 PETM
2 Twins

13 {R}
5 {L}

This list gives you more basics, one of which is a set-up aid and the other is basically Chatot MD. The 1-1 tech can be removed to give you 12 open spaces.

^hmmm i do like this but what about PONT? how about replace cleffa with pichu HS. slowking will be my choice since making your opponent dead draw all the time is awesome. also twins can go and 1 PETM can go since i will be CONSTANTLY drawing with magnezone so deck refresh with PONT will be required.

so

-1 cleffa
-2 twins
-1 PETM

+1 Pichu HS
+3 PONT

ill c/p your list and edit it appropriately

why not use judge instead of PONT to disrupt your opponent while you can just magnetic draw to get a larger hand?
