Strategy:

Really straight forward deck that has the potential to hit really hard. The goal is to hit hard with Lucario with Strong Energies, Muscle Bands, and Machamps on the bench. Hawlucha anti-EX, Korrina, Rare Candy, and Ultra Ball makes Machamp really easy to pull out. If you manage to get M Lucario out its almost always OHKO

Any particular reason(s) why Landorus EX and Landorus are omitted?

Also, when I played a version of this deck, I ran 2 Switch and a Pokémon Fan Club (to help get my bench setup faster) too.

I agree. I would suggest at the very least, one Landorus. A good starter with a little bit of energy acceleration (Shout of Power).
Maybe, -1 Xerosic / +1 Landorus
