Items:20

4 SuperScoopUp
2 Switch

4 Ultra Ball

Energies:18
4 P . 4 F . 2W 2D . 2 DCE 1 of each other attachment.

TESTING RESULTS ATM:
11-1

1-1 V DarkHdrei
4-0 V AltChomp
2-0 V Eel
1-0 V Troll
1-0 V RaBoar
1-0 V KlinkEX
1-0 V Garbodor-Terrakion

Decks Aim:

The deck aims to attack with Tornadus EX's 1st attack with the SAB Stadium out and use Pokemon Catcher to take out the opponents weak prevolutions while using Ultra Ball etc. to set up Ho-Oh EX's + Energies in the pile then use "Phoenix Rebirth" to put Ho-Oh EX onto the bench with up to 3 different Basic Attachments and start attacking with Ho-Oh EX. Without hitting to Weakness Ho-Oh EX is hard to 1 hit so most decks have to 2 hit it. The problem is that Ho-Oh EX needs to 2 hit most attackers too so in particular V Normal non- EX attacker Ho-Oh EX can have problems. With SuperScoopUp however in between the 1st and the 2nd attack on a particular Ho-Oh EX, it can be put back into the hand meaning the opponents attack was wasted. It can then be put back in the pile with Energies with Ultra Ball etc. and the process can be repeated. Tool Scrapper is in here to counter Garbodor variations for example Garbodor-Terrakion and Terrakion is in here to counter other Garbodor variations for example Garbodor-Trainer Lock as well as one of the decks worst Weaknesses which is HDD as it can Max Potion heal. It is also here as a Revenger when Ho-Oh EX is taken down and with Energy Switches it can be set up all in 1 turn and as a meta counter overall. Mew EX is in here as a late match Mewtwo EX counter and an attachment mover in order to set up huge attacks, as well as a rather "versatile" attacker as this deck runs all Basic Energies it can abuse the attacks of almost all the Pokemon in the popular decks.

ive been testing this and it seems to have some trouble from my experiences I think it needs to drop the scoop ups put in 3 or 4 switch and maybe another bianca and take out something for dce and another tornadus

I put in 2 Switch and 2 DCE. And took out 2 Crushing Hammer and 2 Enhanced Hammer... useful cards but not vital.

Ok *cracks knuckles*

#1. Why do you have a Tornadus EX in this deck. I understand that it CAN discard the energies that Ho Oh needs, for the Pheonix Re-Birth. There's is some serious issue's with this strategy.
  • It's on a coin flip, granted Flipping heads will kinda be a nice break for you.
  • During an Energy Drought (Which you will have) flipping a tail is gonna make you uber mad.
  • Not always are you going to have a Ho Oh EX in your discard pile.

I'd suggest you remove them for; another Mew EX. In a Mewtwo matchup, he can kinda sweep you because you need 3 energies to do decent damage, and he already can pump out a lot. Mew will get the OHKO that you really need.

Another Terrakion would be amazing. Since he can help against Zekeels which can outspeed Ho Oh, and will usually.

#2 Why 4 Bianca?? If you burn through your hands like that, I'd suggest that you slow down, decking out is gonna be a big thing in this next format.

I'd suggest you remove 1 Bianca, because 3 is enough to keep your hand healthy, and not clunky, and 4 is overkill. For that Bianca you should replace it with another N. This card is gonna be essential to every deck in this format.

#3 4 Super Scoop Up?!?!?!? No, it's too flippy, and you're gonna flip too many tails. (Unless loaded coin but dats cheating) I'd remove 2 of them, that way you can pick up a damaged Pokemon and continue on, and put in 2 more Switch. If this deck meets up against Ninetales/Amoonguss it has issue's with the status. Accelock is different, as you can't play energies.

#4 3 SAB?? No, this is just too much for one deck to handle. Most decks next format do run it, but 3 is just a little bit too much. This is just IMO but you should remove one of them, and replace it with another energy of your choice.

#5 Your energy line is too little. Maybe try going something like 6 {F} and 2 of everyother energy that you want to chose to fill this up. This makes it so Ho Oh doesn't hit dry ground that easily, and that Terrakion has enough energy to function.

#6 Don't rely on a donk. That rarely ever happens with Tornadus EX ( I played it for 3 + months, and it only happened once) Now you can rely more on a powerful match with Ho Oh

#7 Enjoy your new deck :D
