Ruling Ho-oh EX's Rebirth reset?

Hi there, if I attempt to use Ho-oh's Rebirth, fail, and then bring that same Ho-oh back to my hand (puzzle of time etc), discard the same ho-oh once more. Would I be able to re-attempt the Rebirth? I know it is once per turn, but would re-discarding 'reset' the ability?
Thanks :D

Please post a scan of the card in question.

This can be answered without card scans because it is a general ruling that does not apply exclusively to Ho-Oh-EX DRX. When a Pokemon goes from a public zone (your discard) to a private zone (your hand), everything about it is reset. A Pokemon with an Ability that can only be used once per turn "forgets" that the Ability was used if it goes to a private zone, even if it's known to be the same Pokemon. This also applies to Pokemon in play. If a Pokemon uses its Ability, is placed in a private zone, and then put back into play, it will be able to use the Ability again.

Thanks very much mate! I had a feeling this was true just wanted to make sure! Glad to have a good community to reach out to!
