Alright so theres a magmortar with a fire and a holon FF and you use octillerys first attack

where you do 30 +30 if they have a special energy attached and discard it

so the question is does it do weakness damage?

i think you would because you discard the energy for the attack then you count weakness

No, you don't. You only look at the Energy cards that are present at the start of the attack, not at the end of it. You get the 30 + 30 for Crash Bomber's effect, and the discard too. But since it was attached at the start of the attack, you would not get to figure in Weakness damage.
