Hey if someone uses Deafen (dragonite ex) or disconnect (manectric ex) and you have a wp energy with a psychic energy attached does it stop the effect of not being able to play trainers (except for supporters)? im not sure because not being able to play trainers isnt really applied to the pokemon that wp is attached to. I'm pretty sure it stops it i just want to make sure

First off, you must be talking about the water part. However, neither part will help you gain the ablity to play trainers, since the affect is actually targeted at you (what a bad target, stupid 40 damage+effect exs.
