Hoopa Form Change Confirmed [10/18]

Well then wow thats a relief, we can still hope for Mega Flygon then :)

I think everyone was sure 99.9% that Hoopa changes form and not Mega evolve just because the fact that it keeps Magician ability.

It is good to know Game Freak didn't abundant the old fashion forms.

gamefreak must be kicking themselves. The games are not even out, a lot of the secrets are out of the hat already just from the demo version. Imagine how quickly they will figure out all the hidden infos when ORAS releases.

I hope this doesn't keep them from releasing a demo version of the next Pokémon games. Fans might be shooting themselves in the knees right now, this shouldn't be happening. It doesn't matter if GF left the info there, we shouldn't be hunting it.

All we can do is hope they intended it to be hacked and removed the biggest secrets (new megas).

While I agree this might make a difference in the future, I don't pity GF, not after they keep pursuing the Mega-evolution path and letting out the branched evolutions and actual evolutions and certainly not after that joke of excuse for not implementing customisation (at least skin colour)!
The tagline is to catch'em all so...let's go catch information!

Well technically they only revealed minor stuff for the casual player since apart from hoopa's form, nothing new mega wise was found.
Also I don't see the last corocoro before the release revealing no new mega (hoopa won't be revealed yet) and I don't see game freaks revealing everything about the game 1 month and a hlaf before release.

I kinda miss the days of finding out about secrets ~2 years after the release of a game. Now everything is out ~2 months BEFORE release. Oh, the '90s, before the interwebz ruined everything. :p

I wonder if maybe the demo also has data regarding any shiny locks. I'm sure it'd have some considering the improbability of finding shinies in the demo, but who knows, maybe we'll get our answer soon so we don't have to waste time for a shiny we can't get.

It'll all be released at once, which makes sense somewhat. Given with the near same-day releases now for the games.

Well, I kind of predicted the no customization thing, intuition. I really hope that for Gen 7, GF will bring a new mechanic to beef up old pokemon again, while doing occasional mega and forme to mix it up. Just more mega in Gen 7 would be boring. Primal Reversion doesn't count because they are just mega in another name, and they are Kyogre/Groudon exclusive (Shoko-tan kind of said it during Pokémon Get TV). I'm willing to bet they will take your mega slot.

^That's actually confirmed they don't take the Mega slot, even though they are indeed like I always thought Megas evos with a different name... They require the Red and Blue orbs attached to activate Primal Rev. during battle, they have the 100 BST boost, etc... But you can still use a Mega (and you can use both Primals on the same team)...

Also apparently the primal reversion occurs as soon as the pokemon enters the field, so no protect shenanigans.

Man that video was awesome. Does this mean we could see a Deoxys like Pokemon where Deoxys in this case Hoopa has up to 4 forms? So far we know of 2 forms now. That was why I was wondering if we could easily see 4 forms of Hoopa?:)

Don't know if that's what going to happen here, but I'd be all for it! The whole dimensional ring concept leaves so many possibilities.

Yeah I can see. What is Hoopa's type again? Isn't it Psychic or something else? If it is Psychic I can see this happening XD.:)

So it's safe to assume that Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby is when we will get Hoopa & maybe Volcanion?

Hopefully it won't just be some random Wi-Fi/Serial Code giveaway.
But maybe an item that you use to get to wherever those Pokemon are.

As much as I like the "freebies", it takes away from going out and Catching them.
Especially on X/Y which after a certain point, doesn't really have much else to do.

Maybe it will give them a kick up the ass to learn how to patch, so they can add things in in the future when the time is right

Oh we know where the Pokemon are. The are in the locked 3 doors to the Power Plant XD. That is the most obvious place they would be XD.:)

If I'm honest I think Volcanion is the only one that has a realistic chance of being in the Power Plant. It fits its theme, and it's not a stretch to think it would be generating steam power or something.

Hoopa is far too different conceptually to fit in to a power plant. I'm pinning my guess that it will have something to do with the Chamber of Emptiness.
