They are both decsnt, but in terms of a discarding deck, you better off with houndoom. Plus, houndoom is mega speedy, honchrow needs stalling with absol.
Plain houndoom T2. Play it like kricketune. Use absol if you want but there's claydol to stop it. Honchkrow doesn't work as well as it did as there's claydol.
I'm not so sure about the Houndoom idea, it will be great early game, but later on it's going to find it hard to keep consistant damage going, you have to pick either little damage and disruption OR bigger damage, Honchkrow does both at once. But I might just be saying that because I play Honchkrow >_<
I agree. Houndoom is great to start, but Honchkrow is WAY better later game. Not only does Darkness Wing PWN, but Dark Genes allows you to throw out your Murkrow slaves.
