Well, discuss, how can we live without Uxie, Claydol, Unown G, Rare Candy, Bebe's Serach, and googleeane's Research! If you can think of, others, post them, otherwise, discuss

We played without Uxie and Claydol Before... it's called... Supporter cards that draw. :O
Rare Candy... BTS.
Rose... Great Ball
Bebe-Lux Ball, and the Pokemon that search out cards.. plus Pokedrawer+, Quick, Dusk Ball, and Poke-Radar

Actually, we could live without all of those cards. Legends comes out with cards that basically does all of that stuff right now. But if you are talking about the current meta... we could live with Claydol, we have any draw supporters for Uxie, we Great Ball for Roseannes, Bench Shield for a decent Unown G, and just draw cards for Bebe's.

But when Legend comes out They will just get replaced by stuff like energy draw ninetales. Its not quite as versatile as its PK delcatty version, but it will probably run fire and colorless decks for the next two years.

But it could still work. You people complain about removed cards and the next thing is that no one ever talks about them anymore. It's the beauty of rotations, forcing adaptions to decks and making a new format with new decks. Otherwise, the format would be stagnant and little would change.

Yep, think of what it would be like if double colorless energy or Base set blastoise were still in the format. Oh wait, nevermind.

Seriously though, it would suck a lot of Jungle Clefairy were still around.

Yeah, we could manage just fine without those other cards. In fact, for the HG/SS set, I think we SHOULD go back to that.

In the older EX series, we didnt have googleanes or Bebe's. Yet the deck I had (for example) played fine.

actually, it wouldn't be as stagnant as you would think...I came from a game that had no rotating card library, and the format and metagame was still pretty intense and fresh with each new set...adaptations were forced due to new cards that would counter decks and new decks had plenty ways to get wins, so it wasn't the same thing at every major tournament

I think with this game though, there is a severe lack of thought within the deckbuilding aspect, most people ask questions like the one that this thread was made on, because they lack original thought when it comes to deckbuilding

why is that, when most pokemon these days just OHKO it

We could quite easily live without Claydol, Uxie, etc. Playing the TCG however, will be harder. Not a lot harder, but suddenly you would see lots of decks with more supporters, pokedex handys, and other search cards like great ball. I would bet though, that Bebes Searc will stay around for a LONG time.

Because they can OHKO you for less energy. When I first started again about 1.5 years ago I owned EVERYONE at league with my clefable deck. Nothing could even touch it. You need specific counters or you're screwed.

what does it do, I can't find it in the scans

ok, let's change the subject a little, would the metagame be the same, or different? Like, would deck ideas thought of but failed suddenly work without claydol, uxie, ect.

to be honest, more than likely so...seeing as how the majority of the metagame is speedy due to cards like Claydol and Uxie...deck ideas that were considered too slow to work will then be more viable due to the slowdown of the format

SPs are slowly dying. xD

I really don't get your question jirachinick. Could you elaborate please?
Like, deck ideas are made every day, and they are good, but lack room with claydol and uxie, so, would the metagame be the same, or could it change?
