How do I make use out of PokeRus?

(I know this probably goes in the Q&A thread, but I'm going to go into VERY specific detail.)
On my Pokemon White, after catching Landorus, I went to heal, and my party caught the Pokerus.
Only half my actual main team was in my party at the time, so the other three, a Floatzel (which I used for surf and waterfall and is also in my Sinnoh team), and my Thundrus & Tornadus was there too. So I put those three in the PC box as a sort of "time capsule" so if I wanted to infect my other teams later, I could. I also withdrew the rest of my team.
They soon got infected by the rest of my team.
This was at 9:30 last night, and my guide says that the Pokerus will wear off after 1-4 days. So I don't have much time to maximize performance.
I'm not entirely sure how it got infected, but I did have an Eelektross I got off the GTS with Pokerus. I did use it to catch Thundrus about 30 minutes before catching Landorus, but it wasn't in my party when I went to the Pokemon Center (plus, my entire party got infected at once) so that probably wasn't the cause.
But I'm really psyched to get my Pokemon's stats up. Each one has raised four or five levels since last night, and I'm hoping to get them all to Lv 70 or 75 before it wears off (Current levels are 65-67). And most of the reason I'm psyched is because in my old Pokemon Black (which was stolen) some guy traded me a Lv 91 Hydreigon which had Pokerus (For an ALTARIA LEVEL 50! TAKE THAT JAPAN!), and all it's stats were in the 300s, and it's attack was in the 400s! (I think. It's been a year since it was stolen.) So this guy put a lot of commitment into training.
So now that my whole team is infected, I've been through both stadiums twice and the Riches once (I think I'm still too underleveled to fight the E4 again, and Cynthia), how else can I maximize my Pokemon's stats?
(This is in BW. Don't say anything about Join Avenue please ^^)

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

When a Pokemon is infected with PokeRus, any EVs they gain will be doubled. This makes EV training a whole lot faster.
When PokeRus wears off on that Pokemon, they still gain double EVs whenever battling; they just lose the ability to spread it.

Here's what you do:
~Keep a handful of Pokemon in the Box with PokeRus to spread to future Pokemon. Plan to never use these unless you want to spread PokeRus.
~When you're about to EV train a Pokemon, withdraw 1 (or more) of those Pokemon and start battling to spread it (but DON'T battle with the guy you want to EV train, YET). There's about 1/3 chance that PokeRus will spread to a Pokemon adjacent in the party.
~You may need to do this anywhere from 2 to 20 times; check about every 2 fights or so to see if the PokeRus is on your Pokemon you want to EV train.
~Once that's done, go EV train that Pokemon like normal. It'll only take half the time due to the doubling effect. Power Items will give at least 10 EVs per battle (1 to 3, plus 4, times 2), so it'll go by really fast.

As an added precaution, make sure that anyone with PokeRus that is currently in your party is deposited in your box before midnight. PokeRus' day counter goes down by 1 each time you hit midnight, so if they're boxed before midnight approaches, PokeRus sticks around.

I've done this in my own Black 1 and about half my EV trained Pokemon still have PokeRus. (Very few of them actually have had it and lost it.)

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Hey, thanks. My team has Pokerus, and I'm just planning on training all of them like a madman. I've run out of people to battle (that are in my level range.)

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Just be aware that PokeRus doubles EVs gained; it doesn't affect exp. point gain whatsoever. If you're aiming to train Pokemon you've already battled a lot with, PokeRus won't do much! EV training is most always done when you start fresh.

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Ok, well I'm really new to EV training.
Well, actually I know almost nothing about it altogether. I know that Magikarp gives you speed and Machop gives you power, but that's about it...
But it does seem to be doing something, each stat gets 2 increase instead of 1.
Plus, none of the EV boosting items (Carbos, Iron, etc) always say "It won't have any effect".

Apology for the double post.
I just looked it up on serebii, and I kind of understand it now. But are the EVs given to the stats upon leveling up, like stats are usually gained, or are they given in the middle of the battle without knowing?
...
Wait, don't tell me.
If the vitamins don't work, that means I've already hit 512 EVs for that pokemon, doesn't it...
*flings self out window*

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

~The EVs are awarded immediately after that opposing Pokemon is KO'd. The full effects will not necessarily be apparent until later levels, but the EVs will be there regardless, and will stay that way unless forcibly removed (e.g. by certain Berries or via certain Join Avenue services).
~The vitamins will say 'It won't have any effect' if that stat already has 100 or more EVs in it, and/or that Pokemon already has all 510 EVs earned.

This is why you want to EV train a Pokemon that has never battled before, because it will have 0 EVs. Then you have the freedom to EV it how you choose. If you battle trainers randomly and wherever, you'll get EVs from their Pokemon, which can give your Pokemon several EVs in each stat - which, for EV training, is something to avoid (what use has a Ferrothorn for Special Attack?).

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

OK... I thought the Pokerus just raised the stats GAINED. I found some EV calculator on Serebii, and I've been testing it on some of my Pokerus team.
But the good news is that the aforementioned Floatzel that got infected hasn't been used very much, and it's in one of my Gen teams.
(Yes I'm making a team for each generation.)
And if I am EV training, what kind of stats should I pay attention to? The high ones, or low ones? Because I just spent about 10 minutes beating the crap out of Litwicks in the Celestial Tower with my Golurk (Lv 69) to raise the Sp. Atk, only for it to have gone up none, so what should I do?

Mk, scratch that. That was an IV calculator, which is a whole different thing altogether. Now the idea of something that finds your EVs sounds awesome.
I did find a "stat calculator" from Marriland.com, but it didn't have GenV. Wow.
Also, when I was using that IV calculator, it said that the Golurk's speed was bogus. I can post the stats here, if you'd like.

It probably already has all its EVs.

Also, why on earth would you give Golurk SpAtk EVs in training? It doesn't even use its SpAtk.

I think your mistake is you're trying to EV train a bunch of Pokemon you've already used in a bunch of battles before. It doesn't work that way.

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Alright... Well I DID notice that the stat for Sp. Atk went up by 2.
But what EVs do you suggest raising?
Here's my team:
Serperior
Sigyliph
Golurk
Carracosta
Haxorus
Scrafty
I would like to at least find out what EVs I have. I went on an IV calculator (like I mentioned before) and it said my Golurk's speed was weird.
It's Lv. 69, Impish nature, Somewhat Vain, and has a Speed of 118. It says it should be in between 80 and 102.
(And I can always EV train my other teams which I dont use at all... ^^)

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Close call!
I just went on my game to find my team got healed.
Not to worry-just changed the date to yesterday, and put in the PC box.
But something confuses me. The serebii page said that the Pokerus still raises stats double when its healed, but just can't get passed on. Something along those lines, but it still confused me.

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Serperior - 252 SAtk, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Haxorus - 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP

RE: My team just got the Pokerus, how do I maximize their performance?

Hmmmm...
Well, I have had these guys for a while.
But I'll try my best with the HP.
