Well I used to play pokemon, quit in April after 2010 regionals due too loss of money.
When I played they were debateing the use of non english cards any info on that now?
what sets are legal. cause i have alot of stormfront and hg/gs and stuff like that
Are my level X's still worth anything, cause i see they have the dual cards now and not Level X's.
and umm
whats the metagame like? too me that new houndour seems wayyyy broken i mean

The current format is Majestic Dawn-On, all Non-English cards are illegal and most Lv.X cards are still playable. The Metagame is mostly Luxchomp, Gyarados, DiaglaChomp, Gengar variants with occasional appearances of Machamp, other SP-Variants, Kingdra and Donphan. (The Meta-game will differ depending on your area) Other semi-rouge decks like Mewperior, Steelix, Scizor, Regigigas, Charizard, Magnazone variants and Tyranitar have been doing pretty well.

Here is a break down of the top performing decks this format:
1.Luxchomp(by far)
2.Gyarados
3.Vilegar
4.Dialgachomp
5.Machamp

Everything else is underplayed and is usually at the bottom tables.

Legends(what you refered to as dual cards), are not good currently. The only playable one right now is Entei/Raikou Legend, and only as a tech in certain decks.

Also, that houndour is far from broken. It is too slow, and not very good when set up anyways.

If you were to jump back into the game, the best way to do it is to make Dialgachomp. If you go to a league, you can get 3 Dialga G as league promos along with a lot of the SP engine from people that will trade. You can also get Dialga G LV.X from the new Clash of Legends box at places such as Target. I would get the rest of the deck online or trade with people on Pokebeach. Dialgachomp is a a tier one deck, and with the right list, I'm sure you will top cut a city, or dominate at league. If you want a really good Dialgachomp list, PM me and I will give you mine.
