How do insert the Delta symbol in the pages?

How do you insert the delta symbol. I don't know what buttons to hit on the keyboard.
 
While we're on this subject (and to further promote discussion) anyone know how to do the male and female signs as well? I'm not really keen on going through all the numbers...add any other relevant symbols that would deal with Pokemon too, like the accented e if anyone knows. I know I'd be interested in knowing how to insert those in.
 
I do not get it all the time. Sometimes I get other things and sometimes I get δ.
 
well, sometimes timing is very very important in making a simbol.
U cant let go the Alt button any time u want, u'll have to start by pressing Alt, then 235, finally let go Alt and there u go : δδδδδδδδδδδδ

BTW, tell me how to make the male simbol!
