It is a special type of paper they use and then they paste the Pokemon stencil over that on their computer and they print it and they come out Holographic and Reverse Holographic. See if you can put that idea into Discovery Channels "How its Made show and hopefully they will have it in an upcoming episode. I would like to see how they are made also.
With holo cards, a holographic sheet is bonded to the card base, then the next layer is bonded on top of this, with a clear window where the card illustration goes. Then, the illustration is printed on, before a final, extremely thin clear layer is bonded on tp of it all! (Or something like that )
