Any chance that the old Pokemon in the video were there as a hint on their evolution/ Mega evolution?

Bahaha, Throw back. . .

Although, the first time I watched this, it made me think Sylveon has Multiscale as a possible DW ability.
If you care to know how I did so, read my post here.

It's funny when you see a Pokémon use an attack and it looks all angry, then just before it cuts to the Pokémon that got attacked, they go back to looking happy.

It's just so much more realistically awesome. It feels like the Pokemon stadium days, but even better, as attacks are seen coming from one Pokemon and hitting the other.

I'm glad not every single attack gets a zoom-in-and-take-forever animation. That would drive me nuts.
Also, Power Whip's animation is incredible .__.
I can't really tell from that video, but do Pokemon have different animations for different kinds of moves? In Stadium, each one had a different animation for projectile attacks, tackling attacks, punching attacks, etc. And some had their own unique animations, such as Blastoise using its cannons for Hydro Pump (instead of its mouth like it does with Ice Beam or Water Gun). I'm hoping to see things like that.

Makes me even more excited for the games! 15 more days!

[private]Not very elaborate, but I'll leave it be since the member is quite new. If we see more unelaborated posts we can send a friendly PM to this user. *Drohn[/private]

There are not any in this video that I can tell too,but I think they can do that with signature moves
In other trailer iirc there was a move showing Yveltal coming behind his opponent from a shadow like vortex. It looks like they did that animation specialy for Yvaltal.

I always like to imagine what Pokémon look like when they're doing certain attacks and now I don't have to!

The Pokémon animation is so smooth, the moves are just like how I imagined them after playing Kingdom Hearts 3D with all those fancy effects and light. =P Can't wait to see them with the 3D effect on the 3DS.
By the way, I'm wondering if we will be able to see the other trainers' customization during online battles or if they gonna be the standard models (like in the video above). It would be cool if it would be the former but I don't know... =X

To go from a set of sprites that move the same way based on pre-determined animations for each attack to full 3D models that move their bodies their own unique ways to attack, what's not to like about the new animations?

The only thing that concerns me is the Sky Battles still showing the shadows of the Pokémon. The latest trailers show them all with shadows while they're supposed to be flying high in the air, which is something you'd think they would have noticed and fixed even if it is a limitation of the 3D shadows system they made. Hopefully it's something that falls under the "images not final" category, but seeing as these games are completed and the issue is in the latest trailers it's probably not likely.

It's too bad that in the video the players spend so much time without doing anything, to show the 3d and the camera movement. Just imagine a high speed battle, move after move, never stopping.

A new Pokemon battle

Morimito vs Miskai

I wish we could understand what they are taliking about
What are they saying about Shedinja?

The animation for eating berries is awesome

I like how they crack the nut berry open and eat the insides.

Is it just me, or did an Electric type attack KO Shedinja?

Yeah I think Shedinja lost its ability. Maybe because of one of the other Pokemon moves or abilities?

Also noticed , when Gogoat attacks the Pokemon in the right side of the screen ,its turning a little bit right to face him before making the move

Actually no, Shedinja didn't lose his ability, Mega Ampharos has Mold Breaker.

I love the battle animations, its like Stadium and Pokémon: Gale of Darkness to me :)
I like how each does something different when they attack, and how they move during battle. It makes me dislike the old games a little bit :). I can not wait to get a slowbro it is amazing how it did Ice beam. I am going to have to get used to mega evolutions though :p

I really like the new battle animation to be honest. Looks so much more dynamic now, I feel battles will be a lot more fun with this new animation and will probably be a bit weird going back to previous generations after it!

I don't like it.
I LOVE IT.

For years, we've been asking for another 3D Pokemon game and now the time has come! Better attacking visuals, amazing weather, backgrounds that not even DaVinci could compete!
It may sound like i'm exaggerating, but the thing is, is that one of the main reasons why X and Y is so hype right now is because of the new visuals. It's simply awesome.

To be honest, I'm more excited than I should be after seeing what battles will be like. It's gonna be quite odd returning to previous gen games after this. :D

I think this is what I've been waiting for since gen 1. We will finally get a more accurate way to see how they battle instead of background or foreground 2-D animations.
