How do you get such good scans??

Just a question about the card scans:

Pokebeach's card scans are really awesome! I'm trying to catalogue my own collection, and I just wanted to see if I could get some information about how exactly Shakespeare makes his scans. Are there certain types of scanners or settings that are best for scanning pokemon cards? I would appreciate any information on the subject.

You have to have a program like photo paint or paint shop pro. Also you have to have a high quality scanner that scans the cards as if they were real cards, After that you have to brighten them just right and set the pixels. I don't know how to do it I just know what has to be done for them to show up in high quality.
