Ruling How does flymence work

salamence attack clearly states (2nd attack)discard a metal nrg CARD. So how does it(i really need 2 know)work?d rainbow is not a metal nrg CARD n neither is holon pokes. i NEED 2 know

Flygon Attach dRE to discard Metal (dRE), or you would attach Casty (as Metal, not recommended). But the behind Flymence is, HRT. Flygon Attach's Basic, thank to HRT also Metal, and Sallly Discard. but still, Sallygross>>>Flymence

Flymence is much better than Sallygross. Much more consistensy and better techs for the deck.

i would have to disagree wiht you i know you can run stright holon engine with it but IMO in a jam i would rather have matgross dx/ds on my side then flgon hp and matgross ds act a search pokemon with put having to run another line rember this is is IMO

Obviously, both Sallygross and Flymence have their advantages and disadvantages.

Sallygross has a better secondary attacker (Metagross > Flygon) and can run Latios* or Latias*, which is a huge deal. You can also run Metagross d for setup power.
Flymence can swarm better (because Delta Supply doesn't place counters) and can run techs more easily (such as Salamence ex d, Flygon ex d, etc). It can also power up the bench quickly while attacking, which Sallygross is almost unable to do.

They are about equal in consisency so that isn't really a factor.
