Claydol and Uxie are a bit expensive for my tastes right now, so I decided to try a 1-1 Uxie(the only drawpower I really have) engine with some Dodrio. So, how many 1-1 lines of it should I run in a deck?

And to the people telling me to not bother with Dodrio, I'd be glad if you told me why I shouldn't use them if I can't even afford Claydols and Uxies.

LAL Oh, well. A Dodrio trans would be nice, but a 1 card draw and super effective against Flygon...still means you shouldn't be running more than 2-2 IMO.

I like Dodrio SV. Use 2-2. If you get both out you get both out then hey, you're drawing two at least.

His retreat cost is his advantage over Claydol.

Over unown R it would be more consistent. They both get one card and you don't need to put in a bunch of pokemon rescue to make it more effective.

Unown R is better. It doesn't take up bench space. Retire 4 times, play some Night Maintenance/Pokemon Rescue/TSD and do it again. I don't want to waste supporters for 1-2 turns just to be able to draw another card every turn. If you don't like that, just play Houndoom or Scizor/Cherrim. Or use the 1-1 Uxie and a bunch of Supporters.

But if you really want a good deck, you need to get Claydols or Uxies.

You could probably trade your uxie Lv.X for a claydol.
Good point.

And thanks to everyone else that gave me advice.

I completely second this. Unown R is GREAT!
