Ruling How much is your card worth?

Well is there a website which says how much your card is worth? Or is there a thread here which says?

I know it's been suggested that people go to ebay to check, but do you check the current bid or the "buy now" price?

Also would an Alt holo (or any holo for that matter) be worth anymore than the normal card?
 
Ebay is the most reliable place to check for prizes. Remember to look at prizes only on near closing or already closed auctions. The buy now prize is often ridiculously over prized.

Alt.holo common, uncommon and regular rares tend to have slightly more value than the regular card. In rare holos the logo version (alt.holo) is rarely considered to be more of value.
 
If you go to www.google.com and pt in Pokemon price lists or something similar it will give you place with the estimated prices. Try Pokemon price guides and see how much each card is worth.:)
 
Tyrone...um....I'm not sure your website is very acurate because I checked out the price for a Tyranitar ex (DF) it was $41.50 o_o. Unless I'm reading that wrong please tell me...

And xxashxx when I did that I couldn't find any recent price list, most of them went up to EX Dragon....
 
Have you ever heard of the beckett company? They make magazines for trading card games. They have full price guides for every set thaths been out when thath issue came out. I have one right now, but its may issue.
 
EBay is your best bet. Someone selling cards would sell like a Dusknoir for $15.00 just to make you think that it's worth a lot even though it's not that expensive.
