Lets have a look @ the card. (I could only find one from Sandstorm)
It states that you can search for 3 different type of basice pokemon (no babies. Babies are: Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Azurill, Wynaut, Budew, Bonsly, Mime Jr, Happiny, Munchlax & Mantyke), show them to your oppenent & shuffle your deck.

c-m: LV, don't reply with something the posted obviously knows, he/she wouldn't ask if he/she didn't have the card, and you're only stating facts unrelated to the question.

It's your 1st example, 3 different types of Pokémon, as in, a grass, a water and a lightning Pokémon. Also, if you searched for a Pokémon with 2 types, the other 2 can't have either of those types.

Hey you have nice avatars i might even get
one myself.

c-m: Please don't spam or go off-topic, thank you.

The baby pokemon mentioned above is for the old baby pokemon from the sets before the Ex Series. Those babies are now consider as basic pokemon.
By the way, Lanette's Net Search was reprinted in EX Emerald...

@ PPM

what do you mean that now a days you could use LNS for babies like Mantyke, etc. (But they still have baby Evolution)???

Before the EX Series, all the baby pokemon like Cleffa are considered a Baby Pokemon, for example, Cleffa from Neo Genesis. Now those baby pokemon are consider as Basic Pokemon, for example, Cleffa from EX Unseen Forces. So LNS can search for the Baby Pokemon EX Series onwards & not before it...

Q. Lanette's Net Search says to "search your deck for up to three different types of Basic Pokémon cards excluding Baby Pokémon". Does the phrase "Baby Pokémon" only refer to older babies (like Neo series), or does it also apply to newer cards with the "Baby Evolution" Poké-POWER on them?
A. The new "Baby" Pokémon are written as Basic Pokémon. "Baby Pokémon" refers to older cards as they have been printed. Basics that have the Poké-Power"Baby Evolution" are Basics and not Baby Pokémon, even if other cards of the same name are considered Baby Pokémon (Sep 11, 2003 PUI Rules Team)

Baby check was clearly especified on the card, if it is not printed on the card, you obviously don't have to do the flip check...
Plus the card said Baby pokemon, new cards say Basic.

* So they don't have baby check???

Do you mean flipping the coin??

Yup... so there's no baby check if it was not printed w/ the card... well that sucked, cleffa of DP is a bad starter unless there is a clefairy.

I think i'll switch my cleffa of DP for bonsly of DP... for DP format...
